Taína Canine Rehabilitation offers several massage options that are perfect for senior dogs, dogs recovering from orthopedic or neurologic surgeries or for spoiling your furry friend in addition to other rehabilitation services. We offer modalities including laser, laser acupuncture, NMES and PEMF bed. We also offer cupping, and kinisio taping.
For rehabilitation services an initial consultation is required. During this consultation I will perform an orthopedic and neurologic exam as it pertains to mobility. This initial consultation is done in the comfort of your home. After the evaluation a rehabilitation plan individualized to your pet is developed and discussed with you.
As a canine rehabilitation therapist, I work closely with your primary veterinarian and supply a summary of findings with plan as well as recommendations. If medications are needed, I will contact your primary veterinarian. It is your responsibility to maintain a current Veterinarian-Patient-Client relationship with your primary veterinarian. This involves a minimum of one exam per year. We look forward to helping your pet move better.
